C++ is a great language. As with any language it requires a time to learn and master. Yes,it's hard for beginners, but once you are in, you start to value it's robustness and versatility. I came to C++ from managed languages 15 years ago. C/C++ are languages of my choice as I see no descent alternatives. People who say C++ is "bad" ,"hard" etc are often people who have a very little professional experience using it or using it the wrong way.
